Hello!
I am a designer and author/illustrator based in London and part of a team of animation directors at StudioAKA. I’ve been very lucky to have worked on a wide variety of interesting projects and I still find animation as fascinating as I did when I first watched Disney films as a kid.
But then there are books.
They don’t move and they don’t make a sound, yet they remain one of the finest ways to smuggle a story into our imagination. I’ve always been hooked on books and love the simple storytelling chemistry at work in picture books.
I’m very pleased to be working with Simon & Schuster in the UK who made my first outing as the illustrator for Smriti Halls’ wonderful ‘I’m Sticking With You’ such fun. It published in the UK in 2020 and two sequels ‘ I’m Sticking With You Too’ and ‘ Let’s Stick Together’ published in the UK 2022 and 2023 and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
My first Solo book ‘ The Duck Who Didn’t Like Water’ came out in (2021) and my second solo book ‘ Wellington’s Big Day Out’ followed in 2022.
A third solo book releases in October of 2023.
